Believe me, I know finding the right photographer is incredibly difficult. My goal is to make it as easy and comfortable as possible for you so you can enjoy the experience.
Senior year is full of memories, a time when hard decisions are made, and a lot of changes. I was there and I remember all of those feelings. That is why my number one priority for your session is to capture images that reflect you during this season of your life! If you play sports, bring your equipment and jersey with you! Do you love theater? Let’s capture that! Bring your dog to your session! Do you have a hobby that you love? Let's find a way to incorporate it into your session. This is a time to celebrate YOU!
If you decide to book with me I will send a contract your way so we can make it official! Then we get to start the fun part of planning your session. I will send you a style guide to help you get an idea of what you want your session to look like and answer some frequently asked questions. From there I will send you a questionnaire so I can get to know you better! This helps me customize your session to feel exactly like you.
When you get your images back there will not be any crazy, over-the-top editing that makes you look like a plastic doll. I'm sure you've seen those... That's not what we do here. Your images will be natural and bright with light retouching!
When we first meet up for your session I like to see the outfit choices you brought with you. Then we will figure out what outfit will look best at what location. Then we will get shooting! During the session I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I will start you out with easy poses (the ones for Mom and Grandma's fridge) and work our way up to the fun candid prompts. I will be there showing you exactly what to do the whole time! I might start some prompts by saying “You might feel silly doing this next one but trust me it’s cute”. Just go with it! I will also have my speaker with me so we can jam out during your session! Song requests are strongly encouraged.
